Choices, Choices, Choices...

Well we have finally had our pre-start meeting and made all of our choices. What a stressful time, so many things to be decided and agreed on! And then there is the final cost that brings you back to reality. Below is a list of our pre-start choices (long and boring for those not building).

I am really looking forward to seeing all our selections coming together...and hopefully they work! We have approval from the shire so hopefully we should see a slab in a couple of weeks.

In the beginning...

I have decided to create a blog to share our build with family and friends. Also my sister is building at the same time (1800km away!) so this is a nice way to share the experience.

At the moment we are at pre-contract stage...overwhelmed by colours, tiles, door handles and roof colour...who knew there would be so many decisions to make! So to take a step back in time here is where it all began:

With the location sorted it was time to find a house to put on it! We decided to build with Dale Alcock as we have built with them before and were very happy with the outcome. We found a great design and a charming sales man.....this is what we came up with

So we have had our pre-selection meeting where we were given a tour of the Dale Alcock (SW) showroom, shown our inclusions and given our homework booklet. So while we are getting ready for pre-start selections our contracts are being drawn up. And now the fun begins.....
